Real Destination Wedding | Montage Kapalua Bay, Lahaina, Hawaii

 

We were so excited when Kelly got in touch to have her custom invitations for her destination Hawaii wedding. The look we were going for was a bit retro and muted. Even though the florals used in the design would normally be bright and lively, Kelly wanted a more toned down look. We also opted for a graphic floral versus a real or vintage illustrated design.

We started with several options for Kelly, focusing on getting a Save the Date card design nailed down first. We presented 3 ideas to her where she had the option to feedback and choose a route. She had let us know to try and include Palms Leafs, Plumeria/ Frangipani and Heliconia. We included the florals she had asked for and used them in our initial layouts that you see in the design however, she had also made some changes to the colors and the placement of florals and fonts to get the look she was looking for.

From there Kelly already loved a few fonts from our other suites so we with the layouts we presented Kelly with several font and color options to finish her custom invitation suite.
